I just realised that A LOT of people DO NOT know what I do for a living.
Those whom I have come in contact with in my line of work would know what I do, for sure ... but for the others, Hmm ...
I turned up for a voice training class, organised by my company where Hossan and Paul Carr were our trainers. What really took me by surprise was to see Alfred as a camera assistant! My dear boss decided to film the session down so that we can all learn from our mistakes and wince as we listen to ourselves on screen.
If such an experience wasn't harrowing enough, a friend had to be there.
Alfred, my friend.
At 4 HOURS of voice training and filming and shameless self introduction ...
Alfred introduces me to the cameraman,
Alfred: Hey ... meet Abigael. She knows Randy and Nich and the gang too!
Cameraman: Hey ... nice to meet you. So you take photos huh?
Abigael: Huh?
Cameraman: Alfred told me that you are a photographer too! Just like Darren they all.
Abigael turns to Alfred: What!??!?! Dude!!! You were filming my class for 4 hours and you still have no idea what I do for a living? Not just me, you still don't know what my company does?!? You still think I take photos ah?!?
So there you go, nobody really knows what I do.
I have been keeping my identity under wraps ... successfully.
