She cries everytime she is at the school door at 8:01 am because she can't join her class in singing the national anthem ... awww ...

The little brat scrambled out of the car door as her grandpa screeched to a stop at the carpark. Wailing at the top of her nasal voice ... ANIS! ANIS! ... when he turned to smile at her ... Hi Anis ... she turned coy.
I see the back of a little ponytailed girl in a white cardigan and a little curly haired boy saunter in to the classroom. Thank the Higher Being ... they weren't holding hands.
I love you Shea ... more! I hollered in vain.
Yeah yeah ... love you too. Shea dismissed with a wave of her hand, shooing the mummy away like an annoying fruitfly resting on top of her grandma's basket of fruits.
No!!!!!!!!!!! A silent scream ensued inside ... as the camera zoomed in from my mouth, down my tonsils and the Higher Being knows what body parts till it reaches my heart before it combusts into a gory galore. I tasted a little blood on my lips ...
Come this June, I'll have to make the decision on what primary school to send Shea to.
Aiyoh ... like that how to send to co-ed schools?

As good as Nanyang Primary or Ai Tong sounds .... mummy is going to stand firm on this. PLMGPS or St Nicholas. Near our house and most importantly ...

*ahyah*. i'm sure you know putting them in girls' schools wouldn't be much of an assurance cos it'll simply mean meeting up with the boys after school or on saturdays right? [that was what i did SNIGGER] haha.

Hmmm, pick the lesser of the 2 evils, what if she develops a crush or a series of crushes on girls, as they inevitably do in an all-femme school?
Yet, I believe that in a girl's formative years, her freedom of expression and sense of gender liberty must be encouraged; and often, it is these single-gender schools that have the apt environment for that ... See how girls often act coy and docile with boys ... I have no point, but if I have a daughter, she will attend PLMGS, MGS, Marymount Convent, CHIJ ...
